Mike and Jose initially designed this model as a 7' big guy/old guy fish. We had several custom orders to miniaturize it so we offer a "baby pelican" too. It's got a modest swallow tail with double concave in the tail. We add dual glue cuts on these for the tri stringer look without adding stiffness. This model works great glassed light or heavy. Like most of Corky and Mike's boards, we use s-glass by default. That being said, we can glass them anyway you wish.
This board checks all the boxes. It turns great, goes really fast, and paddles like a long board. Unlike a longboard though, this board duck dives easy because we pull in the nose and add nose rocker.
